Meet Dr. Todd Cohan

Todd Cohan, O.D., earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometrists (ICO) in 2001. In 2007, he opened his private practice, Foresight Vision, where he quickly became known for his personalized approach to vision care. With a passion for staying on the cutting edge, Dr. Cohan has always embraced new technology to offer his patients comprehensive care.

Recognizing the growing need for dedicated dry eye treatment, Dr. Cohan established Midwest Dry Eye Center, where he and his team provide specialized care for patients struggling with dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction, and more. His clinic uses the latest diagnostic tools and treatment methods to ensure precise diagnoses and effective care. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Cohan is a respected speaker in the optometry industry, frequently invited to share his expertise on contact lens comfort and dry eye management. He is a founding member of a national study group focused on advancements in optometry—one of twelve researchers nationally recognized for their advanced dry eye expertise. Dr. Cohan is also the Medical Director for Hoot dry eyes - a national provider for dry eye.

Outside of his work, Dr. Cohan enjoys an active lifestyle. He spends his free time playing tennis, exercising, attending sporting events, and traveling. Dr. Cohan lives in Buffalo Grove with his wife and two children and loves spending quality time with his family.
